Who?
I am Pascal a Software Engineer that is passionate about learning new programming languages. I enjoy working in the backend and orchestrating servers as much as writing JavaScript. During my time as a Software Engineer, I mainly focused on engineering services based on Node.js.
I really enjoy working in a Team and in the Environment of an Office but sometimes it's nice to enjoy the quiet environment of home-office to completely focus on a task.
During development, I love to do pair programming and plan as a Team the next steps of a system.
Work experience
In the past 7 years, I've worked in different types of companies, from Digital Magazines, Video Streaming, and Health Care. Which gave me a great understanding of how different companies work.
Tech Stack
My Tech Stack
I focused mostly and Node.js and TypeScript. I've mostly developed MicroServices based on Nest.js and Express.js. When working with these Services I used different Databases like Postgres, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch. My work not ended there, most of the time I also developed and implemented the Continues Deployment Chain. When working with deployments and infrastructure I used Jenkins to build dockerized versions of the MicroServices. The dockerized versions then were deployed to AWS or Google Cloud, orchestration of the Infrastructure I always did with Terraform.
Sometimes I also worked with different languages like PHP, Python, or Go. These where mostly small changes on Legacy Codebases or small projects.

At ottonova I was focused on building and maintaining services built in NodeJS. During that time, I developed services for communication with external partners, services that are used in their mobile apps and frontend.

At glomex, I focused on building and maintaining Javascript apps. Most of that time I developed and maintained a videoplayer. I also developed a adproxy system and registered a patent for this service.

The present invention relates to a method for delivering advertising material from an advertising material server to a client device before, during or after the retrieval of media content from a CDN system, wherein the client device encrypts the destination address of the advertising material server and queries the CDN to query advertising material System in which the encrypted destination address of the advertising medium server is contained, and wherein the CDN system extracts the encrypted destination address from the request and decrypts it in order to retrieve advertising material from the addressed advertising medium server and to provide this to the client device.
